  • Aaaa-ooooooo Werepups in New York……Aaaa-oooo. Get it? No? You will in a moment when you here this odd story of a woman who saw a man pull a little werewolf dressed up as a baby out of his bag on the subway.

This all started on March 5, when @bootyslime tweeted:

  • So. Yeah. What the hell is this. And it’s not an isolated incident! This guy has been spotted carrying this little guy around all over the city, and is a regular fixture on the Instagram account Subway Creatures.

Okay, so is this thing a doll or is it a living, breathing baby werewolf?

Some theorized it might be the kid from Jumanji, but it was Nathan Steinmetz who had the answer. He said “They’re called Werepups and it’s a brave new world once you fall down this rabbithole.”

Wait a minute. What is a werepup?

Apparently, it is a finely crafted doll made by artist Asia Eriksen. They’re for collectors or can be used as props in horror films. The werepups have a bunch of famous fans, including Robert Englund who played Freddy Krueger, and Alice Cooper.

These werepups are custom made and according to some on Twitter they can cost upwards of $600 apiece! So if you’re going to spend that much, I guess you can do whatever you want with them.

Like this lady, who a few years back thought she’d introduce a werepup to her newborn baby.

  • Look, it’s probably just for social comforts. If people are allowed to have emotional support dogs, why not an emotional support fucking demon wolf?

What do you guys think? Would you spend $600 on a werepup? Would you introduce that werepup to your week-old baby and destroy its mind forever? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter at @WhatsTrending.
