Eagle/The Falcon eyed fans watching Avengers: Infinity War could be forgiven that during all the non-stop action, they never stopped to think: “Hey! Where the heck is Ant-Man and maybe even Evangeline Lily as his partner and possible love interest Janet Van Dyne, aka The Wasp?” This would be a fair question, and apparently, Ant-Man’s missing from the film was tied into the fact that he had a movie of his own due out just a few months later.
The trailer above shows very much that that movie was worth us not seeing Ant-Man get turned into casualty number 412 in Infinity War.
The trailer gives us all the charmers — Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Evangeline Lily as the Wasp, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, and Hannah John Kamen as the villain of this entire cinematic glory, Ghost. We don’t know much about the Ghost right now, but according to the trailer, she stole Pym tech from another dimension? It sounds messy, folks!
Oh, and Laurence Fishburne is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe now! A good one, too — he’s Goliath, a hero who grows in size, or he’s the man who used to be Goliath at least since he seems pretty retired, but I feel like we don’t set up a thing like that without paying it off, right? Goliath, Goliath, Goliath!
