  • Melania Trump has for a long time been teasing her anti-bullying/cyberbullying initiative, despite the fact that her husband, President Donald Trump, sort of cyberbullies from a national stage for the pure single-minded hell of it. Well, anyway, as her big bully husband sat nearby, Melania revealed her program today with a tagline as absolutely muddled as the program’s plan — “Be Best”.

Now, you know that sounds weird, your wise little ear can hear how it sounds like something a Google Translate doc would spit up and get you annoyed at it instead of say — the highest office in the country. The correct phrasing is “Be Better”, after all.

  • That and the entire mission statement of the program is so muddy. The three pillars of “Be Best”, according to Melania Trump are “well being, social media and opioid abuse”. Those are three pretty complex topics tackled as vaguely impossible with two words that don’t even sound incredibly clear together. Here are the people of Twitter clowning on this phrase-making no sense-sense big-big (I am inspired by the First Lady’s program).

Good luck on ending both the opioid crisis and also bullying, Mrs. President! See you later, be best!
