  • Before the 2014 Sochi XXII Winter Olympics coming up tonight, let us reminisce about some of the great moments in the Winter Olympics history. Who could forget of course the 1980 Miracle on Ice, the 1988 Jamaican bobsled team, or Apolo Ohno’s famous Subway commercials? Then there are some not-so-great moments in the past. • I’m not sure what was more “fabulous” about this event: the puffy shirts, the commentating, or the drumming of the ski poles after sticking a killer “two-and-a-half thumper.” All he needed was some Eddie Money to accompany his run and it would have been a perfect ten.

ESPN asked if this will be the worst Winter Olympics ever, and we will just have to wait and see. If so, they may just have to bring back ballet skiing to increase those ratings.
