When Will We Visit Other Stars?

Interplanetary travel is cool and all, but where’s the love for interstellar travel?

Inspired by the animated “Bravest Warriors” show, Vsauce tells us what we’ve accomplished so far in terms of space exploration, the probability of visiting other solar systems, what would actually happen to the naked human body if it was exposed to these locations (exploding blood vessels, fun!), and who we might meet out there.

Even if sci-fi lovers’ theories of time travel and wormholes forever remain just what they are – theories – there’s still one major lesson to learn from all of this: “Live your life in a way that makes traveling light years just to hang out with you worth it.” Because what if there are other life forms out there?
