  • Live from SXSW on the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, music sensation Tori Kelly performs her hit song, “All In My Head,” and chats with Shira Lazar and Barbara Dunkelman about her upcoming Fill A Heart Tour to end child hunger.

Having started on the Internet posting her own songs and videos on MySpace and YouTube, Tori is now enjoying an exploding career. This is due in part to her recently being discovered by Scooter Braun, who is widely known for being Justin Bieber’s manager. “He really believes in what I’m doing,” she says. “He doesn’t want to change anything.”

After going back and forth between releasing covers and originals while establishing herself online, Tori found her own stability in the music scene.

“It was definitely gradual, just kind of experimenting with different types of videos and doing songs that I loved,” she says. “I think it’s important to keep that interaction with your supporters.”

She even recorded her debut album, “Handmade songs,” in a studio she built in her bedroom. “I think, for me, I needed to kind of prove to myself that I could do my own music and do everything literally 100% on my own,” she says. “Ever since then, I’ve been evolving into the artist I want to be.”

She’ll also be blending her love of performing with a great cause by embarking on the Fill A Heart Tour as a part of the 2013 Child Hunger Ends Here campaign. “Basically what I’m going to do is go to a bunch of different cities and during the day, we’re going to be food banks and then at night, we’ll be doing shows.”

To get involved in the cause, visit the campaign website, buy ConAgra food products at your store, and check out Tori’s original song, “Fill a Heart,” available on iTunes soon!
