  • Jon Stewart took over the Daily Show from previous host Craig Kilborn in 1999, and starting next week Stewart will be taking the longest break from the show in 14 years to spend three months directing a new film. Last night, during his nightly sign-off, Stewart’s Moment of Zen sign-off was suddenly interrupted by Senior British Correspondent John Oliver, who decided to begin measuring the drapes a few days early.
