  • With a documentary film repertoire that spans from the adventures of Lewis & Clark to the dark days of Prohibition, Ken Burns has racked up enough accolades and awards to cement him in history as one of the world’s greatest documentarians. So it should surprise no one that the scholar has teamed up with Funny or Die and turned his eye toward the latest war that has generated millions of casualties and left generations of children fatherless: Facebook.

  • “Sadly there appears to be no end in sight, confirming what Facebook has become,” a dispirited Burns narrates in the film. “A daily reminder of just how little you have in common with the people you knew in high school.”
