With San Diego’s Comic-Con upon us, black attendees may be staring at a dearth of black superheroes and wondering which comic book crusader would make a good cosplay costume. Thankfully, stand up comedian Ron Funches has put together this handy guide for the dos and don’ts of black cosplay. For instance, don’t dress as “any athlete from Madden or the NBA2K games. Putting on a football jersey or a basketball jersey is not cosplay. It’s plain lazy.”
