  • The late Amy Winehouse’s memory and soulful musical talent are being commemorated in more ways than one today. On what would have been the singer’s 28th birthday, her parents have launched the Amy Winehouse Foundation to benefit youth struggling with addiction and disability.

In a statement, Winehouse’s father shared, “It seemed appropriate that the focus of our work should be with young people, those who are vulnerable either through ill health or circumstance. Amy touched millions throughout the world and I know she will continue to, through the Foundation.”

In addition to the charity, the artist’s voice and presence are being celebrated with the music video release of her “Body and Soul” duet with legendary crooner Tony Bennett. The clip, which features a happy and healthy Winehouse, showing off her pipes of another era, may just be the perfect accompaniment to the launch of the Foundation.

  • An exclusive behind-the-scenes interview with the late singer was posted as well.
