Cori B, the 12-year-old daughter of Snoop Dogg, stops by the What’s Trending studio to talk to us about following in her father’s footsteps and then takes the stage to perform the world premiere of her first single “Do My Thang.”

Cori B started at the tender age of 6 singing in a church choir. From there, she kept honing her skills and following her passion for music and performance.
When asked about her new single “Do My Thang,” the adorable Cori told us that the song is really for the young and old. “It’s fun and you can dance to it,” she said. Cori has a simple recipe for ‘doing her thing.’ She stated quite simply, “Just be myself and don’t care what people say.” Pretty mature words for such a young lady.
As for the advice her famous father gave her, Cori B said, “Never give up and just believe in yourself.”
