  • We counted a Like for Boing Boing’s Mark Frauenfelder as he dryly said, “Good for him.” Comedian Romany Malco, however, suggested that perhaps the Jonas Brothers should one up Bieber by getting, “a bunch of people on the Titanic and sink it…in the Staples Center.” I think we have to mark that as a Dislike.

  • The majority of you who weighed in on Facebook agreed with Romany with a heavy Dislike.

President Obama held a townhall on Monday at LinkedIn to talk about the immense U.S. deficit and jobs (or lack thereof). The one-hour discussion was moderated by LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner, but we wondered if this was the best place for Obama to address these serious issues.

  • Romany jumped right in with a Like adding that, “LinkedIn might be more credible than half the news we see on TV.” Mark was right there with Romany and threw another Like on the pile, although he did admit that, “I get these LinkedIn request all the time. I don’t really pay attention.”

The audience however went the other way with a big Dislike.

P.E.T.A. has announced that they will be using their .xxx domain to mix softcore pornography with images of animal cruelty. The organization is known for edgy tactics but is this one going too far?

Mark started us off by stating, “P.E.T.A, their heart is in the right place, but they are a bizarre organization.” He worried that this idea might turn people off and even attract a fetish subculture. Romany gave it a clear Dislike before joking, “(Everyone’s) going to confuse these ads with an old Carl’s Jr. commercial.”

Most of you agreed with the panel giving P.E.T.A. porn a Dislike.

Let us know what you’d like to see as a Like/Dislike on the show?
