In 1976, along with Steve Wozniak, Jobs brought to market the Apple II, which is widely considered the world’s first personal computer. From that point forward his innovation and passion continued to revolutionize the worlds of computing, communications, music and movies for decades.
Some of the groundbreaking things Steve brought us include: the iPhone, the iPod, the iMac and the iPad. On Aug. 24th of this year Jobs stepped down as Apple’s chief executive officer.
According to a statement by his family, “Steve died peacefully today surrounded by his family.”
