  • – Viral Video of the Week: “NONONONO Cat”

The latest viral kitten motion picture comes from YouTube Russia, starring a Siberian cat named Marquis. The clip shows Marquis meowing in a manner that oddly sounds like a child saying “No no no no no,” giving way to its Internet nickname “NONONONO Cat.” Since its debut in late September 2011, the clip has received millions of views and inspired a number of remixes with matching clips from popular films and music videos, such as the memorable death scene of Darth Vader in Star Wars IV (“NOOOOOOO”) and the late singer Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab” music video.

He seemed pleased to find out that his Twitter account was discovered by fans of the meme tweeting…

    – Meanwhile in Greece: Riot Dog Returns

The mascot showed up again this month during a violent clash with the police, and ended up getting kicked by one of the officers. According to the Greek news publication Leep Talking Greece, Loukanikos was not seriously injured and is in good health.
