  • The 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards took place Sunday night, sending the social web into a celebratory stream of chatter about the top winners and the best dressed stars of the prestigious night in Hollywood.

The civil rights drama “The Help” took home three awards including best ensemble, which typically points to which film is going to win the Oscar for best feature. Viola Davis was named best lead actress and Octavia Spencer won the best supporting actress accolade. A lot of buzz around Jean Dujardin’s performance in “The Artist” is picking up, thanks to his outstanding lead actor win. On the TV side, it seems people still can’t get enough of America’s favorite Golden Girl Betty White, the actors of “Boardwalk Empire,” and the hilarious ensemble cast of “Modern Family.”

  • Here’s what people are posting online about the results and all the glitterati.
