Do you know that in order for Amber Rose to achieve her signature platinum blond haircut, she has to shave and dye it every three days? That’s what Amber told Shira Lazar when they sat down together on the inaugural Virgin America flight from Los Angeles to Philadelphia.
They also chatted about soulmates, how Wiz is just a normal guy, and why fame and social media go hand in hand.

Amber explained what she has to do to keep her hair the way it is:
“Every three days, cut and dye. Cut and bleach.”
On becoming famous:
“I grew up very, very poor in south Philly. I grew up with nothing and then, literally, overnight I was famous and people knew my name and they wanted pictures. And I was like ‘Whoa!’ It was a culture shock for me….I didn’t know how to handle it or what to do.”
On what made her “locked down” Wiz:
“When I first met Wiz, he was just so normal. And he didn’t let the fame or the money get to him. He’s just a regular, Pittsburgh, down home type of guy. And I needed that…we fit.”
