Quick, name two things that don’t go together! If you said golf and boy bands, then you know where we are headed on this.
Sunday’s winner of the Masters, golf’s most prestigious tournament, Bubba Watson is in a boy band. While it may not be on the same level as legendary boy bands of past like New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys, or Muendo, Golf Boys still make the ladies swoon.
In June, as part of a Farmers Insurance marketing campaign, Bubba Watson along with fellow professional golfers Ben Crane, Rickie Fowler, and Hunter Mahan formed the Golf Boys and released their first single “Oh Oh Oh.” Sure, the song has about 10 sentences in the whole thing. And their attempt at rapping is uncomfortable at best. But I’m pretty sure Watson is the first Masters champion to be featured in a boy band music video wearing overalls and no shirt. Take that, Tiger!
