The Obama Twitter account went all out today on Twitter today, promoting a hashtag, #buffettrule, to whip up support for the so-called “Buffett Rule,” a tax increase on millionaires. The law’s namesake refers to one of the world’s richest men, Warren Buffett, who penned an op-ed in the The New York Times, saying that it was unwise for his secretary to pay a higher tax rate that he does.
Republicans, however, argue that taxes millionaires would do not enough to solve the debt crises. And, so the Twitter war began:
