Internet Pays Respect to ‘Mr. Trololo’, Eduard Khil, Who Died At Age 77

Eduard Khil, a.k.a “Mr. Trololo,” has died at the age of 77 in St. Petersburg, Russia, and the Internet is paying respects to one of its favorite memes from 2010. Khil was a popular Russian performer in the Soviet-era days of the 1960s and 70s. When his lyric-less song, whose words were banned by the government, was uploaded in 2010 to YouTube, it became an oddly wild sensation.
