Wednesday night, ESPN hosted its 20th annual 2012 ESPYS, celebrating the top players in American sports.Miami Heat hero LeBron James was the big winner last night, racking up awards for ESPY Championship Performance of the Year, NBA Player of the Year, and overall Male Athlete of the Year. The Heat was also named Team of the Year for the big NBA title win.
Other notable wins included Jeremy Lin for Breakthrough Athlete of the Year, NCAA champion Brittney Griner for Female Athlete of the Year, Drew Brees for Best Record Breaking Performance, and Tim Tebow for Best Moment.
The Daily Show‘s Rob Riggle hosted the night, grilling the athletes and punching jokes about the New Orleans Saints/Drew Brees bounty debacle and Anthony Davis’ eyebrows.
