Sequel To “Finding Nemo” Coming, Andrew Stanton To Direct Film

  • Director Andrew Stanton will be directing a sequel for Pixar’s 2003’s critical and commercial success “Finding Nemo,” The Hollywood Reporter said on Monday. Stanton is best know for directing this year’s mega-flop “John Carter,” and Victoria Strouse is said to be crafting the screenplay for the new “Nemo” film. Stanton co-directed the first “Nemo” and Pixar is said to be scheduling a 2016 release for the sequel; they are currently developing a another Pixar sequel for “Monster’s Inc.”
