Lady Gaga will be making her big screen debut in Robert Rodriguez’s “Machete Kills,” the sequel to 2010’s “Machete” starring Danny Trejo. She took to her Twitter account on Thursday to make it official, tweeting she will be playing the part of “La Chameleon.”

Yes its true, I will be making my debut as an actress ln the amazing MACHETE KILLS BY @RODRIGUEZ IM SO EXCITED!!! AH! Filming was insane.

Director Robert Rodriguez tweeted a photo of the poster featuring Gaga (above). The film will see Trejo revisiting his role as Machete, and will also feature Mel Gibson, Sofia Vergara and Demian Bichir.
