  • Venture Capital firm, First Round Capital, continues its annual tradition of posting quirky and topical music video parodies on its YouTube channel during the holiday time.

To kick off the now five-year run, the company took inspiration from YouTube’s biggest 2012 hits, “Gangnam Style” and “Call Me Maybe,” in order to spread some holiday cheer and bump up that view count.

“As another year comes to an end, it’s a special time to spend with your colleagues, friends and family, reflect on the past and prepare for the year ahead. It’s also time for the First Round Community to warm up our singing voices and dust off our dancing shoes and show the world that even though start-ups are a serious business we don’t take ourselves too seriously…”

Previously, First Round has spoofed Rebecca Black’s “Friday” and the Old Spice man in their wacky holiday video cards.
