Beyonce Gives Fans Her “Ugly Cry”

The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour came to an end on Thursday in Portugal at Lisbon’s MEO Arena. It has been a crazy year for Beyonce. She began the tour last April, performed at the Superbowl, released a secret-self-titled album and celebrated five years with Jay-Z. But where would she be without her fans? So, as the show came to a wrap she gave a heart-felt thank you. As she began crying she told her fans, “I’m giving y’all an ugly cry. Thank y’all again. Thank you for allowing me to have a career. And when I fall, you lift me up. When I’m hungry, you feed me. And I just want to give you my light. I dedicate this song to you guys.” Then she began to sing her new hit song, “XO.”

Beyonce also added a visual ‘thank you’ to her YouTube channel saying, “After 132 shows and almost one year on the road, we are bidding farewell to The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. Thank you to everyone across the globe who made it all possible!”
