Every girl likes showing off her assets on Instagram, but if her dad is Alec Baldwin, he might have a few things to say about that.

Ireland Basinger-Baldwin is an actress and fashion model. She’s also the daughter of actors Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin. But, at age 22, she’s got her own career going, and as a model she’ll sometimes post suggestive photos to Instagram.

Like this photo with her booty all up on a motorcycle seat. That’s gotta be an awkward photo to see of your own daughter if you’re scrolling through Instagram.

So Alec Baldwin commented. He simply wrote: “No…just no.”

And you could chalk this up to just a dad being caught off guard by a picture of his daughter. But, you could also say he’s not being supportive, and maybe even body shaming her.

People on Instagram are legitimately divided. User Parvisedmangi commented: “you don’t seem to mind when your wife post pics in same kinds of outfits….. Stop with the double standards…..”

It’s true – Baldwin’s wife Hilaria frequently posts scantily-clad images and videos of herself to Instagram. But user Cworker301 disagrees. He wrote: “I saw this described as a ‘shaming’ when it really isn’t. If I saw my daughter like this on a bike, I’d say the same thing!”

So, this may be just playful banter between father and daughter. But it wasn’t always so playful.

In 2007, when Ireland was only 11 years old, Baldwin left her a long, angry voicemail that caused huge controversy when it was leaked wherein he called her a “Little Pig”. Their relationship seems to have improved, and Ireland even roasted her father about the little pig comment on TV in 2017.

Alec Baldwin also appeared to emphasize his love for Ireland on Instagram, with an image captioned: “Actually, this is number one out of five…” after featuring a series of photos with his four younger children.

Regardless, Ireland is unlikely to take any body criticism to heart.

In a previous Instagram photo, she wrote: “I am not going to be body shamed for being pale or not stick thing. I’m not going to spend hours photoshopping my authenticity away. I’m not going to beat myself up for not looking like someone else.”

And the motorcycle photo isn’t even the raciest image she’s done. Earlier this year, she did a nude photoshoot for PETA’s “I’d rather go naked than wear fur” campaign, which her mother Kim Basinger did back in 1994, before Ireland was even born.
