The “7 rings” singer teased a song titled “Nasty” back in March. And before fans could get too excited, she clarified that “new music is still a long time away.” Back in May, Grande revealed in an interview with Zane Lowe that she has been “extra inspired” this year. She recently installed her own private studio in her Los Angeles home.

“I think as far as creating goes, it feels really good,” she said to Lowe.

This year, Ariana Grande released only two collaborations. One with Justin Bieber for “Stuck with U” and another with Lady Gaga for “Rain On Me.” It is unclear whether Grande will be releasing a single prior to the album or simply giving listeners an entire project all at once.

The title of Ariana’s sixth studio album is still unknown. However, fans are already making predictions about what the vibe of this particular LP will be like.

Producer Tommy Brown added to the speculation a few days ago. After he posted a photo of himself and Ariana Grande with the caption “6****,” fans immediately knew something was up. Last week, Grande also tweeted: “turning in these mixes and reminding u again to register to vote if u haven’t already / to vote early.” As of now, Arianators are referring to this upcoming album as “AG6.”

Although Grande has not put out an album yet in 2020, this has already been a quite successful year for the singer. Following the release of  “Rain On Me” with Lady Gaga, she became the first and only artist to debut four singles at the top of the Hot 100.

Many fans are wondering if this new album will capture her feelings about boyfriend Dalton Gomez. Gomez and Grande have been quarantining and dating for months now. In a snippet of “Nasty,” she sings: “I just wanna make time for you/Swear it’s just right for you/Like this p—- designed for you. Bet I look nice on you/Open my mind for you.” She shocked some social media users with the song’s hook: “Don’t wanna wait on it, tonight I wanna get nasty.”

It is assumed that “Nasty” will be featured on AG6.

At the end of March, a fan said the track will be “one of those snippets where we’ll never hear the whole song.” However, Grande responded directly to the tweet that she promises it will not be. Fans are already beginning to think about the potential collaborations on this upcoming project. In the same interview with Zane Lowe, Grande revealed that she does have an unreleased track with Doja Cat.

Speaking about the track to Lowe, she said: “I’m obsessed with her. I love her. I was able to work with her earlier this year on this song that I want to save for whenever it’s time again to drop.” She continued by saying: “And so she just goes off on it, and it’s so much fun, and I love it. It’s my favorite so far.” Doja Cat confirmed the collaboration in a tweet back in late September.

It is also confirmed that Tayla Parx is a co-writer for AG6. In an interview with Insider, Parx said: “The ‘Thank U, Next’ crew did get back together over quarantine. We just kind of let it happen naturally, same way as the last album.”

“I’m excited for her to tell you guys just more about where her head was at with this project, because it truly is incredible, honestly, and I can’t wait for the world to hear it,” she added.

Tayla explained that listeners will “get to know her even more this time around.” This comment, of course, left fans as eager as ever to hear Grande’s new music.

Parx has helped write some of Ariana’s most popular tracks including “7 Rings” and “Needy.” In terms of this upcoming album’s release date, it remains unknown. However, fans of the “thank u, next,” singer can look forward to Grande’s sixth studio album arriving by the end of this month.
