Peter Mayhew, known best for playing the lovable Wookiee, Chewbacca, in the Star Wars franchise has died, he was 74. His family released a statement soon after the actor passed. “The family of Peter Mayhew, with deep love and sadness, regrets to share the news that Peter has passed away. He left us the evening of April 30, 2019 with his family by his side in his North Texas home.” Peter Mayhew began acting in 1976. Easter Sunday was rocked by a string of coordinated bombings in Sri Lanka. The bombings occurred at churches and hotels, killing at least 290 people and injuring 500. It is believed that Christians and tourists were the primary targets of the attacks. According to the Associated Press, 31 foreign-nationals were among the dead. The U.S. State Department confirmed that at least four Americans have been identified as victims. This is one of the deadliest attacks since the 9/11. Lorraine Warren, the real-life inspiration for The Conjuring, has died at the age of 92. The New England Society for Psychic Research released a statement saying that she passed away in her sleep.  “It is with deep sadness that I must announce that Lorraine Warren has passed away. She died peacefully in her sleep at home last night.” Warren, a world renowned paranormal investigator and “demonologist,” was portrayed on-screen by actress Vera Farmiga in The Conjuring movies. 17-year-old Erin Bischoff, who plays Dorothy in Hasbrouck Heights High School’s production of “The Wizard of Oz, sings proudly on stage. The only difference between her and others who have played the iconic character?
