Emotional Support Peacock Denied Entry on Plane
Well, if you want to deal with the anxiety of someone who needs a peacock to stay calm, that’s your bed you’re making…
I guess the first question I have is, what is an emotional support peacock? The answer turned out to be more incredible than we could have ever hoped to fathom. And, I suppose the second question is — what’s going on here exactly? Well, United Airlines refused to let a woman board her flight from Newark to LAX after she attempted to bring on her “emotional support peacock”.
“This animal did not meet guidelines for a number of reasons, including its weight and size, we explained this to the customers on three separate occasions before they arrived at the airport,” a United spokesman told Fox News.
The story gets weirder and more interesting when you find out just exactly what this peacock’s deal is. You see, this peacock’s name is Dexter, and he is a Bushwick bird who regularly appears with his artist owner not only around town but in Instagram photos where the owner is often nude. You can even follow the peacock on Instagram at @dexterthepeacock!
