Measuring in at just 32.8 inches (or 83 cm) tall, the Guinness Book of World Records’ shortest escalator ever is located in the basement parking garage of More’s department store in Kawasaki, Japan – at least, that is according to one travel enthusiast.
While it may not rank as the eighth or even ninth wonder of the world, this tiny moving staircase was a must-see point of interest for the man behind the Travels with Jerry blog and hippykiller1 YouTube channel, which provides viewers with “An eclectic taste of Japan and everywhere in between.”
