New Zealand Legalizes Gay Marriage, Parliament Breaks Into Song

  • On Wednesday, after New Zealand became the 13th country in the world to legalize same-sex marriage, supporters and observers in Parliament broke out into a joyous version of Maori love song, “Pokarekare Ana.”

    According to Mashable, come August, New Zealand will be the first country in the Asia-Pacific region to allow gays to legally wed.
