Trailer for a Film in which Robert Redford is the Only Actor and Has Very Little Dialogue

  • There is something particularly disquieting and disturbing about being lost at sea, so much so that films like The Perfect Storm and Open Waters can leave us squeamish at the mere sight of the endless expanse of the cold ocean and the certain death that awaits someone lost on it. The trailer for All is Lost is no less distressing, in that its main character is forced to contemplate his own death of thirst, drowning, or shark-induced dismemberment in solitude. I imagine watching a film like this will make you fear ever going out on the open water alone.
