  • YouTube and the Travel Channel‘s favorite food reviewer, Daym Drops, has joined many of his fellow YouTubers and celebrities in taking The Trevor Project‘s “Talk to Me” pledge for an important cause.

For World Suicide Prevention Day (September 10) and Suicide Prevention Month this September, What’s Trending teamed up with The Trevor Project to launch a star-studded suicide prevention PSA, featuring over a dozen traditional and social media celebrities, including Margaret Cho, Brendan Ayanbedejo, Chris Kluwe, Kat Graham, Olga Kay, Hannah Hart, Chester See and more.

Talk to Me” raises awareness to prevent suicide among youth, especially those who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ). This campaign for conversation is rooted in research that indicates that improving both help-seeking behaviors and access to care can have a dramatic effect on suicide prevention. To learn more about “Talk to Me” and to get involved, visit TrevorTalkToMe.org and spread the word using #TalktoMe.

Upload your #TalkToMe pledge to YouTube, tweet it to us, and we’ll feature it on our website!
