George Watsky, the California native best known for rapping, made a bit of a brash decision during his show in London over the weekend. Watsky made a 30-foot jump into the crowd from a lighting rig. Two people were injured. One woman even suffered a broken arm.
Watsky wrote an apology letter on his Facebook page, “I made a boneheaded decision that got people hurt, and it’s extremely lucky it wasn’t worse.”
He went on to say, “My #1 priority right now is to somehow make this right for the folks who were hurt.” He stuck to that promise by visiting the injured crowd members in the hospital.
Watsky will NOT be canceling his remaining tour dates in the UK. And he WIll be keeping both feet on the ground for the duration of them. Whew.
