Fans Recreate Famous Bike Ride for ‘E.T.’ 30th Anniversary (VIDEO)

  • On June 11, 1982 Steven Spielberg’s classic film, E.T. the Extra Terrestrial was released in theaters, solidifying Reese’s Pieces, tiny brown aliens, and red-hooded bike rides as cinematic icons.

In celebration of the film’s 30th anniversary last week, young fans attended a free outdoor screening and organized a recreation of the famous bike ride scene through the streets of Los Angeles.

It’s looking a little cult-ish, but the charm is undeniable.
