Why Do These Fans Hate Nick Cannon?

It was halftime at the Knicks-Nets game on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden – the perfect opportunity for Nick Cannon to shoot a sequence for his reality game show “America’s Got Talent”! Or so Cannon probably thought before being greeted to a thunderous chorus of boos from the New York fans.

But it only got worse from there. The segment involved Cannon pretending to shoot a backwards trick shot, which would later be made to look real for television through the magic of post-production. Though some individuals went along with the con and cheered when Cannon’s fake shot “scored,” most of the Knicks faithful outright refused to participate and continued right on booing.
