Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse have split. And to say that we are sad about it would be the understatement of the century.
Former Disney star Cole Sprouse, and ‘Hustlers’ actress Lili Reinhart started dating back in 2017 while they were co-stars on the hit CW show Riverdale. Their characters Jughead Jones and Betty Cooper’s romantic relationship in the show earned them the moniker of “Bughead” by Riverdale fans.
After almost three years together the couple has officially called it quits. Though the two have been battling rumors about their breakup since the start of their relationship, this report seems like the real deal. According to a report by Page Six, the couple split before the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Confirmation of the breakup comes after one of Sprouse and Reinhart’s costar
Skeet Urlich’s girlfriend hinted that the couple was really caput. On an Instagram live last month Skeet Urlich and his girlfriend Megan Blake Irwin were asked ‘Do you think that Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart are a cute couple?’
Urlich responded with ‘I think they were a very cute couple’. Irwin emphasized the were in her comment as well. “They’re both beautiful people,” she said.
Sprouse and Reinhart are reportedly still friends despite the recent breakup. There were rumors that he had cheated with supermodel Kaia Gerber but it was never confirmed, so we are not sure how much we believe that.
