2016 Sucks.

This year is garbage. Seriously. 2016 is a hot mess and honestly it’s too late for it to be saved in any way. All we can really do at this point is hold on and hope nothing WORSE happens before January rolls around.

Most people know this. Either from the state of the U.S. election, racial injustices, all the untimely deaths, or one or more of a million other terrible things that have gone on this year, everyone on social media is often in consensus that this year has been a bust. But some are eternal optimists, always choosing to see the bright side — or in some cases, refusing to acknowledge the negative things happening.

Jon Cozart and Grace Helbig bring these two opposing opinions to us in the form of a song. Or in Grace’s case, a rap. It’s a dose of reality, but in the humorous way they are both too good at pulling off. So sit back, throw on some headphones, and remember we’re only a few months away from a new start. A new start that comes with all the baggage of all the previous years, but hey, bright side, right?
