Tiffany Haddish Battles Black Panther in MTV Movie Awards Opening

Last night Black Panther swept the MTV Movie Awards, with Michael B. Jordan, Chadwick Boseman, and Waffle House Hero James Shaw Jr. winning awards. But then comes the next part of the dream; we don’t just celebrate Black Panther, what if we were inside Black Panther? Oh, now I see I’ve gotten your attention! Well, Tiffany Haddish got to live out every Black Panther fans’ dream when she, and her ‘Girls Trip’ co-stars, were thrown into Wakanda, to face T’Challah himself.

Tiffany Haddish, standing in place for M’Batu in the original movie, is edited in as she challenges Chadwick Boseman for the role of Black Panther. The scene is filled with many delightful Haddish-isms as her Girls Trip co-stars, Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett-Smith, cheer her on. Haddish ends up dancing to TLC before accidentally stabbing Boseman, wrestling him, saying he is about to get her face pregnant until finally calling a draw and watching Black Panther turns to ash just as he did at the end of (spoiler alert) ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.

Tiffany Haddish is then inspired by the event to go and host the MTV Movie Awards because what every single successful award show needs is a complex backstory as to why the host is there to begin with. You can watch Haddish’s opening remarks below, which despite not being a battle in front of Forrest Whittaker playing an elder giving folks magic superpower potion, is still really good.

What do you think though? Would you watch a Black Panther movie where Tiffany Haddish fights Black Panther? I know this is all a joke, but I would. It can be like when Abbott and Costello met Frankenstein (aka perfect).

Anyway, tell me what you think in the comments, or on Twitter at @WhatsTrending.
