Why Would A Classical Orchestra Simultaneously Eat The World’s Hottest Chili Peppers?

Chili Klaus is a Danish chili pepper enthusiast, and in this video, he conducts a full classical orchestra playing Jacob Gade’s “Tango Jalousie,” after every member has popped one of three intensely hot peppers.

The orchestra ate either a Carolina Reaper, a Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, or a ghostpepper, all of which can be 1,000-2,000 times as spicy as a jalapeno pepper.

You may remember back in September Klaus ate the world’s hottest pepper while singing Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” and attempting not to cry.
