Following your girlfriend around IKEA can be a bit boring, but that doesn’t mean she deserves to get punned to death.
This charming Australian bloke and his girlfriend had recently moved in together and had to buy new furnishings at IKEA. “I figured out how to get through there as quickly as possible,” he explained – by relentlessly annoying her with terrible puns based on the Swedish names of the merchandise.
“Hey Dana, I’ve got you on my ‘Reidar,’ he said, chronicling the whole thing on Snapchat. “Hey Dana, do you think this pot plant is a ‘Riskorn’ not? Hey Dana, this clock looks pretty ‘Smycke.’” Meanwhile Dana got more and more exasperated, saying, “Stop. Stop. Just stop. Ugh, STOP. Stop,” until she finally gave up hope.
Hopefully he’s not like that at home all the time, or she may lose her mind.
