Before we can truly appreciate making fun of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” we have to go back to where it all began and make fun of the original trilogy. Bad Lip Reading has really pulled through on that front, with three new videos covering “A New Hope,” “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi.” (Doing a bad lip read of Darth Vader, Storm Troopers and Droids is a bit too easy, but hey.)

Featuring the voices of Jack Black, Maya Rudolph and Bill Hadler, the videos include Princess Leia being captured by Darth Vader (“I really hate you texting me all those helmet pics!”), a particularly dim-witted Luke, an Indian C-3P0, the simmering romance between Leia and Han Solo (“I’m not German.” “And I’m not a Mexican potato”), and a catchy little musical number from Yoda.

Relive the iconic moment when Luke confronts Darth Vader by yelling “You’re bad at stuff!” and Vader going “Dude, that’s hurtful, it’s what the kids used to say when I was little.”
