Is Ted Cruz the Zodiac Killer??

Some people are saying that Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is the notorious Zodiac Killer who terrorized Northern California between 1968 and 1969 and whose identity has remained a mystery ever since. Ted Cruz has never denied these allegations – what is he hiding??

I mean sure, Ted Cruz was born in 1970 in Canada, but since when have facts derailed a fun political conspiracy theory?

The internet is having a grand old time digging up “evidence” about Cruz’s supposed secret murderous identity these days. (A little extreme, maybe, but he did just personally hold up the Flint water bill that’s supposed to help children who’ve been drinking lead-poisoned water, so the comparison is a tempting one.)

It all started back in 2013 with this tweet from @RedPillAmerica:
