Melissa McCarthy Returns As Easter Spicer on SNL

Did you know that Sean Spicer once played the Easter Bunny during a George W. Bush Easter Egg hunt? Until being Trump’s press secretary, it was easily his most humiliating job before he went on to be a Hitler misunderstanding, upside-down flag wearing, constantly clueless weirdo. And, aside from being a goon — he is now a classic SNL character, up there with Dana Carvey’s George W. Bush or Tina Fey’s Sarah Palin — and Melissa McCarthy was back to drive around her Easter Egg podium before the end times.

Sean Spicer/ Melissa McCarthy tells us the tale of Easter to make up for all the weird Hitler talk he did last week, and did so with the use of his beloved friends — dolls of the Veggie Tales. It’s a delightful bit with a strange end times vibe to it. All that and— this is the first time SNL silmucast on the West and East Coast at the same time — which came in handy when they shot Melissa McCarthy on the West Coast.
