YouTubers Gabi DeMartino and Sssniperwolf are in a war of words online and it all goes back, as many things do, to Ariana Grande.
YouTube star Sssniperwolf posted a video last week called “Girl Wants To Be Ariana Grande So Bad” and it detailed some of YouTubers online she thinks are a little too desperate to look and sound like the pop star. And one of the YouTubers she took aim at is Gabi DeMartino, who has a channel of her own, Fancy Vlogs by Gab, as well as a channel with her sister Niki.
But Gabi took exception to her inclusion in Sssniperwolf’s video, because she was under the impression that…they were cool with each other. After Sssniperwolf’s video was posted, Gabi tweeted: “oh hi. your welcome on the views sis. glad my face can do that for you. great example to your following by bringing women down. i really liked you. you were very sweet to me in bora bora. i don’t understand this lack of maturity from you.”
She also posted a full response video to Sssniperwolf’s attack, where she accused her of bullying. According to the response video, Sssniperwolf messaged Gabi on Instagram to apologize, but since the thumbnail still prominently featured Gabi’s face, she decided to reply on YouTube.
An agreement must have been reached, as the thumbnail was ultimately updated to remove Gabi’s face. Gabi’s sister Niki appeared to confirm that the beef had been settled quickly in a series of tweets.
She wrote: “I was so disappointed cuz you’re my sister but she’s one of my fav YT’bers. The feelings are so mixed rn ???? I’ve watched lia for so long and genuinely think she’s so funny and I love that she talks mental health. I’m just mixed on whether to laugh or feel like my sis is on blast. I’m not torn. It was just a weird feeling seeing that in my sub box. It’s being handled. I was able to reach her.”
So, the thumbnail has been changed and all the videos in question are still up. But Sssniperwolf has not apologized publicly to Gabi, so any restitution that happened must have been behind the scenes.

Now, Gabi’s admiration for Ari is no secret. In July, she posted a video called “I Lived Like Ariana Grande For A Day Parody” where she attempted to recreate what she thinks a day in the life of Ariana must be like. But even that didn’t go over so well.
After someone shared the video with Ariana herself, she responded with “yeah, this ain’t it,” to which Gabi replied: “it was a parody. i’m sorry if it upset you. wish i didn’t put it up ? sincerely, a fan”
But after getting dragged by the Arianators online, Ari came to her defense. She tweeted: “i was just being funny i knew they’d laugh at that my bad babe. it’s all love here, u know that. ayo but next time can u wear more neutral tones and not do the cat laugh. jk.”
