We know where this ad is taking us almost immediately, yet the culmination point, as the Indian man is about to surprise his lonely mother who thinks he’s still in the U.S., will leave you holding your breath in anticipation. I don’t think British Airways could have done a better job conveying the conflicting feelings of a mother who wants her son to succeed but doesn’t want to let him go.
