What would you do if a complete stranger on the street pretended he knew you?

  • We’ve all had the experience when someone who looks vaguely familiar but you can’t quite place comes up and starts talking to you in a such a way that you know you’re supposed to know who the person is. But rather than admitting you can’t recall where you met, you play along until you can figure out how exactly you know this person. Well Ed Bassmaster decided to capitalize on this by walking up to random strangers on the street and pretending he knew them. The best one is where a guy convinces himself that he must have met Bassmaster when he was in New York a year before, seemingly creating memories from whole cloth.
