  • YouTube channel DinnerTableDebate only recently popped up on August 13 and just launched its first video today — one that is sure to begin causing a stir across the Internet.

The longform video stretches on for roughly an hour, displaying a dinnertime debate between Brian Brown, President of the National Organization for Marriage, and Dan Savage, writer of the Savage Love column (and also notable for having riled up the Web earlier this year after his controversial address at a high school conference.)

On August 15, 2012, the two met at Savage’s home in Seattle to enjoy a meal and hash out their beliefs regarding marriage and the Bible. The rest is YouTube history.

If this first heated and topical debate is any sign of things to come, it’s safe to say that this YouTube channel is one to keep on your radar.
