Hamilton Cast Honors Prince with Impromptu Dance

The ending of last night’s “Hamilton” performance was a bit different than most nights.

The cast decided to honor Prince, who passed away in his Minnesota home yesterday morning, with jubilant dance to the song “Let’s Go Crazy.“

Creator and star, Lin-Manuel Miranda started the tribute with a dedication to the late, great musician saying:

There’s one more thing we’d like to say before we go. We lost a giant today.

The crowd erupted in cheers, as Miranda cued in the music and the dance began.
