  • An adorable sight went down in Disneyland earlier this week as Mickey and Minnie Mouse — played by costumed actors in the popular California theme park — told a toddler “It’s nice to meet you” and “I love you” that ends with the seemingly shy child hugging the Disney characters! Adorable!

According to Los Angeles’ Fox affiliate — the meeting was set up by Olive Crest — a child abuse prevention program — and the park and people in the costumes had no knowledge that the child was deaf. It was an unexpected moment. An unexpected— Disney Magic moment!? Even the hug was unexpected. As the boy’s caseworker said —

” “Guys, this kid is the most incredible child I’ve ever met. He is mostly deaf, so the ASL translator is behind him, signing to the characters so they can copy her and communicate with the little guy. He is not a big hugger, so that hug for Minnie is something special.”

Adorable. What do you think though? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter at @WhatsTrending.
