Jordyn Woods has officially joined OnlyFans and shocked the world yet again.

She broke the news late on Tuesday via Instagram that the long-awaited partnership is now official. Woods wrote: “ART BABY!! I teamed up with one of the best photographers and creatives in the game @stevengomillion to bring you exclusive content for @onlyfansofficial.”

Woods is charging $20 a month for exclusive content. This is comparable to other celebrities on the platform such as Bella Thorne and Cardi B.

The model claims that she plans to use the platform to post “iconic photos.” Both fans and social media users have expressed their confusion about what exactly that may entail.

However, she did open up to Complex about her plans.

“We’re creating art on here; we’re not posting just random selfies,” she said. “There’s going to be really edgy, iconic photos of me on there, and it felt like OnlyFans was the right platform to launch this project because it’s completely different than anything that I’ve ever done.”

Woods made it clear that she is not doing this to take away from the other creators on the platform, especially sex workers. This is something that has caused issues to arise when celebrities, such as Bella Thorne, decided to join the platform.

“[I’m] not coming on there to take away from anything that [sex workers or anyone on the platform] already built. I just felt like the bigger picture is that it can be a space for people to be on there, to not be judged, and to be authentic to ourselves,” Woods shared with Complex.

Celebrities of all statuses have started to use the platform during 2020 to release not only NSFW content, but also exclusive behind-the-scenes footage or clips of their upcoming projects.

It seems as though Woods has plenty of support from OnlyFans superstars. In fact, she even consulted with them before making her official announcement.

Abigail Mac, an award-winning adult performer and OnlyFans star, commented: “Jordyn is an incredible ally. I’m so grateful she is using her massive influence to help destigmatize sex work on OnlyFans.”

“It’s been so exciting consulting with Jordyn about launching her OnlyFans in a way that’s supportive and engaged with sex workers,” Casey Calvert, an award winning adult performer, said.

Woods has opened up about her past struggles and hardships with body image and being judged by others. Many think she is taking advantage of this opportunity to empower other women and support her endeavors as a result.

“Growing up, I’ve been shamed a lot. Being a curvy girl, being young and seeing the skinny girls wear short shorts because it’s hot outside, but I want to put on shorts and it’s provocative, or I want to put on a tank top and it’s provocative,” Woods said.

There are mixed reactions on social media about Woods joining OnlyFans. Many think she is doing it for attention while others are completely here for it.

Jordyn Woods has faced plenty of backlash in the past. After hooking up with Tristan Thompson while he was dating Khloe Kardashian, she quickly became known as Kylie Jenner’s ex-best friend. This caused her to lose a lot of support. However, after her Red Table Talk segment with Jada Pinkett Smith, many expressed their support for her again.

Ever since that drama, Jordyn Woods has been scoring roles on BET+ and Freeform. She has also debuted her very own fitness and lash line.

Woods’ decision to join OnlyFans is being criticized by millions, but also supported by other OnlyFans superstars and millions of other people at the same time. Many fans are wondering what Kylie Jenner will think of this news or if she will comment on it at all.

Woods is focused on spreading body positivity through her page on OnlyFans. And with over 11 million followers on Instagram alone, she is bound to receive an outpouring amount of support.

In fact, the research team at SlotsUp estimate that based on Wood’s following, she will roughly make over $5 million a month on the platform.
